CALLAN & HAYDEN
BALI
Callan
Get ready to fly, balance, and connect with Callan, the ultimate acro enthusiast! As a former dancer & cheerleader, and title holder for Worlds with PACE All Stars Arizona in 2008, Callan knows a thing or two about high-energy performance and teamwork. She was also a multi-national champion with OCC from 2007-2009, so you know she's got some serious skills.
In addition to her dance & cheerleading background, Callan has taught and trained acroyoga for the past five years. She is constantly learning and growing as an acro practitioner. She has had the privilege of studying with some of the best in the business, including Mélanie (@ladybase_), Lux, James Heugh (@acrojames), Chris Filkins, GOM Circus, and many more.
As a professional performer working with several circus & dance companies such as Sacred Flames, Callan is a multi-apparatus and prop performer, flying high on aerial silks, spinning fast on the LyraPole, getting fierce with fire spinning, dropping into sensuality with group dance choreographies and blurring the lines between acro and dance. She has wowed audiences of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to conventions and rallies with thousands of attendees.
But Callan's not just a performer – she also loves sharing her knowledge and passion for acro with others. She teaches weekly classes in acroyoga, acro dance, flexibility, and FlyHigh Yoga at The Yoga Barn, and she has certifications in Vinyasa, Yin, and FlyHigh yoga. Callan is even finishing up her certification in teaching circus aerial silks, so she's always learning and growing as a movement teacher.
And if that wasn't enough, Callan also shares tons of free content on her Instagram account @acropixie and is launching a membership vault of step-by-step acro tutorials for students, teachers, and dance choreographers. She truly believes that acro is for everyone, and she's excited to share her skills and experience with you at AcroSpirit Acroyoga Bali Festival. So come fly, balance, and connect with Callan – it's going to be a blast!
Hayden
Across the styles, Yoga is a journey of self-discovery - a journey integrating the heart, body, and mind.
Strongly grounded in the physical and the present experience, Hayden's classes are open to the fullness of our human experience as spiritual beings. He teaches from the heart to the individual; whether you're in a class, workshop, teacher training, or private session - he inspires everyone to discover their own practice, your own unique contact with the divine. He aspires to hold a space that is inclusive, trauma aware, and welcome to all.
Hayden was raised in a large family close to nature, where kindness was the highest value. He worked in construction while pursuing a Biology degree in Conservation Ecology, and spent many years in the forest studying the natural world. A youth of martial arts practice and Buddhist meditation led him to Yoga in the mid-2000s, where he found grounded, practical techniques for bringing more peace and awareness into daily life. A desire to help people led Hayden to share the practices that can help bring so much joy, ease and growth.
Hayden's teachings are inspired by the world around us, and the world within. He is blessed to be influenced by his teachers Bex Tyrer, Thich Nhat Hanh, Mark Whitwell, Jo Phee, and his parents Lyall & Louis
